APPEARANCE:Astra is a very delicately composed person. She has a strong jawline and absolutely flawless skin, all of the lovely features accented by her specific cut of hair. Her pink hair is cut with bangs above the eyes, but is very long and layered, reaching to about her hip area. Astra's soft blue eyes give her a somewhat innocent appearance.
PERSONALITY:As a child, Astra was always very enthusiastic and inviting. Her heart was worn on her sleeve haphazardly, but life was lovely and carefree so it didn't seem to be much of a problem. The brilliant young mind always seemed to be searching for a higher purpose and responsibility, which normally wasn't something that children wanted, but she found the concept of being responsible so alluring for odd reasons. Her curiosity grew as she did and by the time she was a teen she was uncontainable. Astra wasn't afraid of anything either.
In her later years however, Astra went through a bit of a change that effected who she believed herself to be. The smiles didn't come as easy, though she was quick to please as if she was still the awkward child she remembered herself as. A serious tone also seemed to set in on the young woman, as she never before found the need to be too terribly serious. The curiosity that seemed to make up her being as a child also dulled in her more recent years due to her finding it more a problem than anything else. There is almost the sense that she has become apathetic upon surface level.
BIOGRAPHY:Astraea was born to a pleasant and small family in the Soprano district. Her mother tended to a farm and her father owned a small shop at the market, effectively sustaining them without need for other jobs of any kind. Occasionally Astra was teased for having such old parents, as hers were a good fifteen years older than all of her friends, but she never let that bother her much. Astra was absolutely insatiable when it came to her curiosity at life and all of its wonders. Up until the age of seven the little girl entertained herself with explorations of the district and (to her parents dismay) the rest of the city.
At the age of seven though, Astra was informed that she was a very important person and would have to take special schooling because of it. Astra didn't mind because she was just curious enough to want new places and subjects to explore. The schooling was to a select number of children, all around the same general age and there was about 30 of them. In time many of the students began to leave the schooling group until it was down to just four. These four were then informed that they were the new four legendary mages and must continue rigorous schooling so they might command the city once they were old enough. Astra was a bit taken back at the notion, but even more so when, at the age of fifteen, she was informed that she was the new leader of the exclusive group.
The responsibility that the little girl so wanted turn out to be a sort of salvation. The purpose made her feel more alive than she had ever felt before. But the peaceful ruling and learning that she was so content in came to an abrupt end when the monsters came into the city. The crystal that was the legend of the first four music mages shattered, leaving the entire city naked to the fangs of the demons it used to keep at bay. The young woman rallied with her comrades and tried to come up with a plan on how to protect the city, but they couldn't yet harness the power to create a new crystal and they were running out of time. That was when they came up with the requiem. It was a dark melody and very much a forbidden concept, but in her desperation Astra was willing to try it. For her people.
After the first successful requiem they continued to summon more warriors when needed, but the people began to look upon the legendary mages as if they were demons. Astra began to feel like a god forsaken creature, looking upon the city she must protect with hidden feelings of contempt. She didn't really hate the city, but she felt like an outcast among people who used to worship her. At the young age of 21 she had gained another title atop of Elegy that stung her to her very core. Lady Grim. The goddess of death. People feared her and try to avoid her on the streets, but Astra still tries hard despite her situation.

POWER(S):Astra holds a specific kind of musical magic that only she and the other Elegies can harness. It does not hold a name, but it can be extremely devastating if used correctly. She also holds the ability to command the Requiem with her fellow Elegies than can summon the dead.

The most common weapon that Astra uses is her voice, but rarely she will be found with a spear.
