Elle is a beautiful young siren. Prominent among her features are her legs, which are covered in soft rose and caramel down feathers and tipped in hawk's talons. Down feathers also make up part of her hair, mixed in with the rose colored strands that frame her face. Her face itself is heart-shaped with large, sad eyes the color of the ocean. Her lips are small and soft, set above a delicate chin. The frame of her whole body is set along the same lines of her face; small, soft, and curvy. At her tallest, she is only 4' 9" standing. Luckily for her, Elle has wings to same shade as her legs, only with real feathers. They are large and allow her to fly from place to place.
PERSONALITY:
Shy and sweet are the two things most people associate with Elle. Her friends would also say she's brave and loyal but Elle rarely feels brave at all. Thunder, fire, and snakes are just the top of a long list of fears Elle harbors. Her fears make her usually the last to join a fight and the first to cuddle.
Seeing that Elle is shy, she is extremely responsive to attention. If you notice her, she will flash her brilliant smile and sing you as many songs as you want. She is fiercely loyal to her friends and trusting to a fault. She is easily fooled and innocent, trying to save the world one song at a time.
BIOGRAPHY:
Elle was born in the magical city of Geo to two loving parents. She studied music in the Academy in Geo and spent her nights singing at the local cafes and pubs. Her voice was enchanting, her being a siren and all, and people always crowded into wherever she was working. Offstage, Elle was just a cute, shy girl. Whenever guys would make advances, Elle always found the quickest, quietest way out.
After she graduated, Elle moved to Madora Beach with her friend and fellow graduate, Monique. She built herself a birdhouse/lighthouse on the beach with a song. Her singing attracted a nearby mermaid. Flameshe was her name and they quickly became close friends.
A year or so after she moved to Madora Beach, Elle was singing as she flew to Polpota Harbor and the power from her song accidentally sunk a ship. She quickly retreated to her home and refused to sing again. Unfortunately, that ship was full of evil soldiers controlled by the Deathbringer and the survivors from the sunken ship sought revenge on all sirens. The captured Elle and trapped her in her birdcage lighthouse with a giant evil plant.
Her friends tried to convince her to sing to save herself but she refused, she took her entrapment as a punishment for all of the deaths she caused. However, a hero came and killed the plant for her, freeing her from her cage.
Elle was so greatful to this hero that she accompanied the hero to meet Gilbert, a stargazing centaur. Gilbert then captured her and tried to force her to sing on a pirate ship to "gain love". The pirates decided to just sell the songless siren and the annoying centaur when Elle refused to sing still. In fright, Elle started to sing, hoping to scare the pirates and escape. Mid-song, a monster attacked the ship and her hero had to save the day once again. Afterwards, Elle apologized for trying to destroy the ship with her song and the captain had her sing again, just to prove his ship was tough.
After this, Elle decided that, since there was a ship built that could handle her songs, maybe singing wasn't so bad. She began singing again. The hero, after hearing her sing, took her to meet one of the wisdoms, Gaeus. Gaeus told her that her singing revealed evil, it didn't cause it. Her singing sunk a ship full of evil soldiers and made a monster show itself, instead of attacking the ship after the hero left. Elle was happy to hear this and took it upon herself to help save the world.
Shortly after the world of Mana achieved peace, Elle went to sleep one night and woke up in Symphony the next morning. She had no recollection of how she got there, only that this wasn't her world anymore. Well everything was explained, Elle chose to study at the Sanctuary, feeling that she must be here to help save this world, as she had helped to save her own.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
The sound of footsteps echoed softly in the nearly empty music room. Elle was the last one out, as usual, and she had lost her music. Again. "Where did I put it? I swear it was in my desk..." Her soft voice rang through the lonely space like a bell, filling the silence like a broad brushstroke on a blank canvas. This was the third day in a row that her music had gone missing. Elle couldn't really say whether it was her own carelessness or if it was somebody picking on her. Either way, she was getting tired of it.
A third search of her desk resulted in nothing except a messy floor. Tears filled her wave-colored eyes and began to spill over, blurring her vision. She stared at the disaster zone around her desk in dismay, "No music and I have to clean this up too... I miss Flameshe..." Her soft lips pulled down into a frown and she brushed away her tears angrily. Almost immediately she began to sing. The sound was watery at first, sad and tear-filled, like the ocean her lost friend called home.
As she filled her mind with determination and the image of her mermaid friend, Flameshe, Elle's song grew stronger and more beautiful. The sound of it filled the room to bursting and rushed down the hallway until it reached the outside world. Inside of the music room, Elle glowed with the purpose of her song. Soon enough, a responding glow began to radiate from a pile of loose papers under a stack of chairs in the corner. Sure enough, as Elle's singing died out and she scooped up the papers, music notes and bars became obvious on the page. The lost sheets of music. Elle smiled and held them up like a trophy, clearly proud of her accomplishment.
