APPEARANCE:
Mikoto is about a head or so shorter than Zidane. Like most genomes, she has a similar hair style and body shape. The key thing that differentiates her from the others physically is the fact that she has pink barrettes in her hair as well as a pink ribbon tied to her tail, not to mention the sharp gaze she almost always gives. Her hair is also blonde and shares a similar eye color, although hers is so light in color that it appears as though she is blind.
Her clothes consist of a black long sleeved shirt that covers the calms of her hands, covered by a loose white shirt with pink sleeves. Her white skirt is covered with pink (possibly arcane) designs, equipped with a hole for her tail to go through with ease. Last is her pink boots and pale pink leg warmers. Although she won’t admit it, she does not like changing her clothing style because of her ties with the world of her birth.
Along her right hip, she ties her triangle there for quick use.
PERSONALITY:
Mikoto is a 'tad' bit cynical with her words. She puts off standoffish sort of front, often criticizing people on actions or words she deems unexplainable or as she would say, irrational. But, that is all that it is a front. It is actually pretty easy to cause her to stumble on her words and startle her once they find her weakness. Not only that, she can be rather gullible and childish at times. In her strive to learn everything around her, she often disregards her own safety only to later scold herself for acting in such an “idiotic” way.
While she doesn’t have any memories of her old world, she still clings on to things she has from that world. It’s one of the reasons she desires to learn so much. She dislikes the feeling she has, all of them. Oddly enough, she finds them foreign, as if she wasn’t supposed to be what she was or what she was doing. Because of this, she does her best to try to suppress her feelings. In fact, she’s rarely found with an honest smile. Unfortunately, curiosity is something she can’t seem to deny.
Mikoto does have a sense of pride, often refusing help even if she desperately needs it. She dislikes it when people meddle in her business as well. Oh, don’t even bother asking this oh-so-lovely barista for a number, unless you’re looking for a scolding . . . or a scalding.
BIOGRAPHY:
She was created just one year before the game starts just in case both Kuja and Zidane failed their duties as “angels of death” making her the third and last of the “angels.” Zidane and the others first spot her when they land at Terra, but rather than greeting them she leads them on a cat and mouse sort of case to her 'home' the Genome Village of Bran Bal. It's Eiko who first spots her in the village and informs her to tell Zidane to meet her at the town's laboratory. It is then when she would explain the purpose of the village and informs Zidane the basics of his past before asking him if he would like to meet Garland. After bumping into several of Zidane's friends, they end up before the place where Garland would be waiting for him. Mikoto warns him that he may want to say good bye to his friends. She leaves him there after he goes in and heads back to work.
Soon after, Kuja's Ultima hit Terra and destroyed the Genome village. The place was burning down and Zidane and Garnet went around rescuing many of the Genomes. Mikoto was still in the Lab when Zidane found her. This time, she was no longer working, but instead staring at the keyboard, accepting her fate. It took a while of coaxing, but Zidane manages to convince her to leave the place. During this time, she tells Zidane her name, Mikoto, and with her being the last of the Genome's to rescue, she climbed aboard the Invincible along with the rest of the team.
When they arrived at Gaia, Mikoto, along with the other Genomes, are taken to the Black Mage Village to live with them. At the time, this was fine with Mikoto as well, since as Vivi had said they were all merely vessels. She felt a strange pang of emotion once Zidane and the others decide to leave and fight Kuja. It was completely irrational for them to do so. They knew what kind of power he had, and yet they think they can come close to it and even dare to think that they can oppose him? Needless to say, she would have ranted to them about it if it wasn't for the fact she got distracted after her "brother" told her to "make friends" with the Black Mages.
After that, Mikoto knew that whatever would happen next, would truly be a sight to see. She hitched a ride on the Red Rose and didn't show herself until after Necron was destroyed, and tells Beatrix that the others were alive. Afterwards, Mikoto sensed that her "brothers" were still alive and went to find them.
Soon after she went into the Ilfa Tree, she is never seen again (at least on their world). Just what happened to her? She was summoned to Symphony.
Requiem's Edge
Mikoto was falsely summoned to Symphony. They had wanted a more experienced warrior than her, more specifically her siblings. Unfortunately, during the summoning, something had gone wrong. They pulled the closest ‘warrior’ they could grab before the portal closed. As a result, Mikoto was summoned and her memories of Gaia and Terra were erased. Either way, she was sent to Sanctuary to learn their magic. She easily complied, not knowing what else to do.
During her first year in Sanctuary, she discovered that she had a knack for Harmony magic. After picking her “weapon” of choice, the triangle, she found that this magic came to her with ease and quickly rose to the next tier, Aria. It was a bit more difficult than Harmony magic, but she favored it much more than it. She found its abilities useful, using them for something other than fighting, like cooking. She did all she can to rise up the ranks, soaking up all the knowledge she could. It helped fuel her desire to learn, after finding a rumor that if she was able to pass all the tiers, she would be able to find out what her ‘home’ was and maybe head back.
Even though she wasn’t a freshman anymore, she didn’t leave her dorm in sanctuary unless it was for classes. She flat out refused to leave, none of the other places, the districts, held her interest. This caused one of the muses to send for a student to convince her to leave, one way or the other.
So, this student did as she was told, trying to lure her out of her quirky study habits and “live a little.” Mikoto quickly refused at first. She couldn’t find a reason why she should even bother with such a thing. She was brought there to study, not to fool around like a moron. So, they tried a different approach. They convinced her that she needed to learn how to interact with people better, so she could find better ways to challenge them, and that the muse for Tier 1 was excellent with emotional intelligence (something that Mikoto lacked greatly). Whether the student was lying or not was a different question. Either way, Mikoto eventually relented and went with the student. They brought her to Simplistic Medley. There one of the workers mistaken her for one of them and told her to work. Flustered by the shove and a tray placed in her hands, she felt as if she had no choice but to follow. It wasn’t until the end of the day (or morning) when most of the customers were gone that they discovered that they had just made a normal beat work. They offered her a job, and her pushy “friend” that had literally dragged her out there, pushed her to work. It wasn’t until Mikoto took this an opportunity to study interactions among people that she agreed to go with it, not to mention she did break a few glasses while working.
She worked her way up with ease, not to mention they found it would be safer to have her working as a barista than to work at night (although she does study there rather than her apartment).
Destiny forgotten,
SKILL(S):
As of the game, her physical abilities appear better than a normal human. She was able to keep a good distance between Zidane and co. while at the same time avoiding the monsters she may have nearly come in contact with. Three years did not weaken this, especially with the district she lives in. Oh, she had managed to learn how to bus plenty of dishes and cups. Mixing drinks is something she’s relatively new at, seeing as though she has to stand on a stool to do so.
POWER(S):
Mikoto has always had the uncanny ability to sense either of her brothers, as well as just how they are doing, and is able to communicate with them thought their mental link . . . when they are in the same area.
Harmony magic.
Aria magic.
Still learning Interlude Magic.
Dabbling in Tempo Magic (although failing).
WEAPON(S):
Does her triangle count?
Even though I kept going.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
A pair of pale green eyes looked around the bar. It was crowded – as usual – but she didn’t see the usual mess. There was always that one guy who’d try “something” as her co-workers had put it. Maybe today was her lucky day? After all, she hadn’t seen the man (or maybe woman?) just yet. She turned around to head back to her work when she bumped into someone. “That’s where you were.” A frown easily reflected her displeasure at the tone. She had thought too soon. “You weren’t at your usual station, so I’ve been looking for you.”
She backed away from him slowly, doing her best not to look panicked. In the corner of her eyes, she tried to look for a way out of this situation. Both of her co-workers were far from her. She looked up at him steadily, looking as though she was glaring up at him. “Ohhh, feisty, aren’t you?” Her gaze narrowed, clearly showing that she wasn’t amused. She was tempted to burn him or kick him. ”Move out of my way.” She said calmly.
The man chuckled. He didn’t see much of a threat in her, not many people did. Oh, how wrong he was. She was quick to her triangle. Tapping on it with her nail, a soft chime rang clear and a blue light flashed. The man’s feet were frozen in place with a quick frosty aria. Satisfied, she swerved away from the man, careful to dodge that arm swing towards her head and back into safety behind the counter. He growled at her bitterly. In response, she simply tapped a sign behind her, hanging on the wall just at her height. Written in big, bold, black letters it said: ‘Harassment of the staff will lead to permanent banning from the bar, especially when harassing Mikoto. You will pay for any and all damages.’
