APPEARANCE:
Peculiar probably isn't a strong enough word to describe Cinna's attire. The man doesn't wear a shirt, but rather a small bolero style top that leaves his entire belly exposed. To add to this odd attire he also wears belt looking bracelets and heavy leather shorts. His boots match the brown leather in his bolero and shorts with buckles like on his bracelets so the only entirely odds out piece of clothing that he wears is his silver puffy chef's hat that is very reflective.
PERSONALITY:
Cinna is usually a very laid back type of person. He isn't especially intelligent or sharp, but for his slower pace he doesn't seem to mind being as much. There's rarely a time that Cinna is actually really serious because he doesn't like taking life too heavily for reasons he never really explains.
Food is a passion of Cinna's though and he'll often stop everything else in his life just to fully enjoy it. Even in the most dire situations Cinna will take a little extra time to make a good brew of coffee, which is another of his passions. For all of his 'stupidity', Cinna is generally a very caring person who likes looking out for everyone around him. Even if it means being a little silly or laggy by making some good java.
BIOGRAPHY:
Much like the others in Tantalus, Cinna's past is pretty sketchy. He was raised by Baku and trained how to be a good thief and a good actor. Also as he grew Cinna found a love for exotic coffee and certain foods. There was rarely a time when Cinna didn't make time for those passions.
Life wasn't very note-worthy until Cinna was fully grown and Tantalus was putting on a play for Princess Garnet's birthday. (this feels so carbon copy right now it's not even funny) The play was only a front however because Tantalus was assigned to kidnapping the princess, which went over as well as kidnapping royalty seems like it would go. Mid-play the queen catches on and begins her best attack, leaving Tantalus no choice but to scramble to make their escape.
Unfortunately for the crew their escape turns into a horrific crash thanks to Brahne's attack and they land face first in the Evil forest. While everyone else is frantically trying to make sure no one is hurt too bad, Cinna seems too preoccupied with looking for his beloved Princess Garnet doll. After a lot of whining about losing the item Cinna retires himself to sitting outside to offer supplies to Zidane, charging for them of course since Zidane decided to leave Tantalus.
Once Zidane and his ragtag party charges off into the forest Tantalus focuses on getting together all the survivors of the crash for their escape. All of Tantalus save Blank that was, who said he had to go help Zidane and that he'd be back once he was done. Blank couldn't come back though because the forest was petrified and the thief was caught in it.
Though the rest of Tantalus escaped, Marcus wasn't willing to leave Blank behind so he pushed to find a way to rescue him. Baku helped of course and they eventually found that an item called supersoft could free Blank. Marcus and Cinna then broke off from the rest of the group to travel to South Gate together. At the South Gate Cinna and Marcus run in to Steiner and Garnet. After the princess learns that Marcus is headed for Treno to save Blank she forces her help on him.
Cinna bids them all farwell, having already missed the cable car to Lindblum thanks to his love for South Gate Bundt Cake, and waddles back into the station to get some more to eat. Due to his lateness Cinna is scolded once he finally does make it to Lindblum and after that he lays low for a while at the headquarters.
Eventually Cinna makes his way to Alexandria after Brahne's death, mostly because Ruby was really pushy and insisted everyone helped her with her mini-theater. He helps there pretty quietly for a while until he's needed back in Lindblum to restore some of the districts. It's there that Cinna's seen defending his hammer from Marcus, letting it be known that no one gets to touch his hammer but him! NO ONE!
And in Lindblum is where Cinna stayed until the final conflict arrived. During that conflict he boarded the Hilda Garde 3 to be there as support. Once it was all over the ships picked up everyone but Zidane and retreated to safety. Years passed in peace, everyone remembering Zidane as if he was dead.
Until Tantalus put on a play which Cinna participated in that revealed Zidane as the main character and it was happily ever after! Until Cinna had a heart attack. Everyone just assumed it was because he stuffed himself with too much cake and coffee. Probably wasn't far off from the truth either.
