APPEARANCE:
Lee's Concept Art
Lee's appearance pretty much matches his personality. Everything about his features can be expressed with the word "monotone". His eyes are never slitted, but always bored looking, blank, and rather empty. He has what would seem like shokingly charming blue hair if he desired to comb it every now and then. His eyes and pupils are a rusty mixture of grey and dark blue. A lot of what makes Lee is a little boring in some way. He wears casual clothing of the same color schemes, but most of the time, you'll be seeing him in his old school uniform. Rather pale and weak-looking eyes that share his hair's color. His skin tone is a healthy shade of light, well, skin color. He has a kind of scrawny build that prevents him from lifting heavy objects, but averages as a passable, thin boy with a normal muscle tone.
Almost everywhere he goes, his old school uniform stays on. It's always cleaned to the point that it is pretty much sparkling ( sometimes, a fruit-like aroma can be smelled from it ). It contains a single white dress shirt tied at the collar with a somewhat elegant ribbon. A thin, black, white-trimmed coat is placed on top. To add some flair to it, Lee added an old pin to it. The same colors appear on both his pants and his shoes. What seems to be two circular pieces of metal tie in the bare collar of the coat. A rather simple apparel. One thing he takes with him no matter where he goes is his music-playing device. It contains clip-on earphones and a cylindrical mp3 device that glows green when it's sunlight sensor notices darkness.
When it gets too cold, he refers back to casual clothing, and puts on a decent, shoddy leather jacket, a woolen scarf, and a pair of jeans. Incidentally, he makes a lot of his own clothing, so it's not designed well for looks, but for comfort.
PERSONALITY:
For those who don't like to read, Lee is simply an indifferent child who doesn't like to talk much.
For those who like to read, go on.
Lee is a rather quiet and unperturbed kind of person, who's personality almost completely matches his appearance. He speaks in a monotone voice, has a monotone expression, and does plenty of monotone things. The word, “monotone"; just about sums him up in one. It's not that he dislikes having deals with other people than him just wanting to spend more time alone. Conversations don't make him awkward or uncomfortable, but he doesn't add any interesting flair to what he says or what he does. He is very polite, but there isn't anything much that's exhilarating or enticing concerning Lee. It is not the same kind of politness that comes from normal people, but rather, a butler-like attitude towards people he respects or knows. A reference to this is his frequent use of the words "mistress" or "madam" and even "master." (Though that last title is less used.)
Underneath, he's gentle and fragile, like a crystal shard. He used to like being kind to others and helping them out, but due to his unconditional illnesses ( Power and history section ) he strayed from society so far that the only reason he bothers to get up in the morning is to earn an income. This is one of the only reasons why he remains polite to everyone, but distant and unconditionally cut from society.
Lee has only 2 major hobbies he enjoys, and particularly excels at. One of them, is music. A never-ending art that he tries so desperately to know better that he plays over 20 instruments and more, primarily the cello. The only special and most liked musical talent he has is at the violin, and he rarely shows this to the world. Another hobby that almost equals music in like happens to be games. His greatest achievements, though, are in his cleaning. Sometimes he will break in to a house just to sweep up a dusty corner, but that rarely happens. Like games, he has a natural tact for cleaning up messes, spotting trash in a hidden spot, sweeping large groups of dust, and a majority of other things. Among all the places he visits, he always makes attempts to clean them.
Lee is also not the kind of individual to get riled so easily. Though it doesn't show, he has a creditable amount of wit and cunning, and thinks very fast. He does not usually pose as anti-social, but neither is he remembered as an individual somebody could make easy friends with. He both likes it this way and aches for somebody to spend more time with, but usually never is successful. However, he cares and loves like a regular human being - he just kind of forgets to do so a lot.
BIOGRAPHY:
Lee was an average civilian of a regular dimension and plane, exeedingly skilled academically and athletically. He lived in a plane of existence called "Sim", which highly mirrored everyday life on Planet Earth we know now. He lived as a single child in a family that was just as normal as many, nothing more, nothing less. At the end of his first year at high school, he was invited to a "scholar's ceremony" on a place called "Solider Island". Apparently, 10 students were chosen for special scholarships and were rewarded with a small vacation - well, that's what it all said in the letter. Without much to do, Lee agreed to go with nine others.Upon arriving, they are told their hosts, a Mr. and Mrs. U.N. Owen (Ulick Norman Owen and Una Nancy Owen ), are currently away, but the guests will be attended to by Thomas and Ethel Rogers. Each guest finds in his or her room an odd bit of bric-a-brac and a framed copy of the nursery rhyme "Ten Little Soldiers" hanging on the wall.
Ten little Soldier boys went out to dine;
One choked his little self and then there were nine.
Nine little Soldier boys sat up very late;
One overslept himself and then there were eight.
Eight little Soldier boys traveling in Devon;
One said he'd stay there and then there were seven.
Seven little Soldier boys chopping up sticks;
One chopped himself in halves and then there were six.
Six little Soldier boys playing with a hive;
A bumblebee stung one and then there were five.
Five little Soldier boys going in for law;
One got in Chancery and then there were four.
Four little Soldier boys going out to sea;
A red herring swallowed one and then there were three.
Three little Soldier boys walking in the zoo;
A big bear hugged one and then there were two.
Two Little Soldier boys sitting in the sun;
One got frizzled up and then there was one.
One little Soldier boy left all alone;
To put the other in a happy place, he sacrificed himself;
Went out and hanged himself and then there were none.
Before dinner that evening, the guests notice nine soldier boy figurines on the dining room table, and one angel. During their meal, a gramophone record plays, accusing nine of them of murder. Each guest acknowledges awareness of a past crime they might have been invloved in, discluding Lee. For example, one of them were involved in an accidental murder, and managed to frame somebody else for it - while another student happened to persuade their high-class parents into turning an innocent civilian in as a criminal. Each one had a sin that they had covered up through all means possible.
The guests now realize they have been tricked into coming to the island, but find that they cannot leave: the boat which regularly delivers supplies stopped arriving. They are murdered one by one, each death paralleling a verse of the nursery rhyme, with one of the figurines being removed after each murder. First to die is Anthony Marston, whose drink is poisoned with cyanide ("one choked his little self"). That night, Thomas Rogers notices that a figurine is missing from the dining table. Mrs. Rogers dies in her sleep that night, which John Armstrong attributes to a fatal overdose of sleeping draught ("one overslept himself"). George MacArthur fatalistically predicts that no one will leave the island alive, and at lunch, is indeed found dead from a blow to the back of his skull ("one said he'd stay there"). Meanwhile, two more figurines have disappeared from the dining room. In growing panic, the survivors search the island in vain for the murderer. Justice Wargrave establishes himself as the decisive leader of the group and asserts one of them must be the murderer playing a sadistic game with the rest. The killer's twisted humor is evidenced by the names of their "hosts": "U.N. Owen" is a pun and a homophone for "unknown". The next morning, Rogers is missing, as is another figurine. He is found dead in the woodshed, struck in the back of the head with an axe ("one chopped himself in halves"). Later that day, Emily Brent is killed in the kitchen by an injection of potassium cyanide that leaves a mark on her neck ("A bumblebee stung one"), which at first appears to be a sting from a bumble bee placed in the room. The hypodermic needle is found outside her window next to a smashed china figurine. The five survivors EDr. Armstrong, Justice Wargrave, Philip Lombard, Mikado Blore Ebecome increasingly frightened and almost frantic. Lee stays neutral, but alert all the same. Wargrave suggests they lock up any potential weapons, including Armstrong's medical equipment and the judge's own sleeping pills. Lombard admits to bringing a revolver to the island, but says it has gone missing. Resolved to keep the killer from catching anyone alone, they gather in the drawing room and only leave one at a time. Lee goes up to his room and discovers a strand of seaweed: an allusion to the boy the gramophone alleged that he had drowned. His fright attract the attention of Blore, Lombard, and Armstrong, who rush to his aid. When they return to the drawing room, they find Wargrave in a mockery of a judicial wig and gown with a gunshot wound in his forehead ("one got into Chancery"). Armstrong confirms the death, and they lay Wargrave's body in his room and cover it with a sheet. Shortly afterward, Lombard discovers his revolver has been returned.
That night, Blore hears someone sneaking out of the house. He and Lombard investigate and, discovering Armstrong missing, assume the doctor is the killer. They wake Lee and the three spend the night outdoors. In the morning, Blore leaves for food and does not return. Lee and Lombard soon discover his body on the terrace, skull crushed by a bear-shaped clock ("a big bear hugged one")—and on the shore, Armstrong, drowned ("a red herring swallowed one"). Paranoid, Lombard assumes Lee is the murderer. In the tense standoff that follows, Lombard suddenly is hit with a sudden inspiration, but sorrowful regret. Without warning, he picked the revolver out of Armstrong's corpse and shoots himself in the head. ("sitting in the sun") Lee, dazed, returns to the house. Dazed and disoriented with insanity, Lee Baker is unsurprised to find a noose prepared in his room. In a trance of exhaustion and guilt, he hung himself, fulfilling the final verse of the rhyme.
Miraculously, Lee later finds himself waking up in a brightly lit room, his wariness fading. Before him, the Elegies sit. They explain to him the purpose of Symphony and the Sanctuary. Lee stays neutral, but wishes to go back. Sadly, this becomes impossible, as in the world he is from, he is known as dead, and would disrupt the calm and sense of sanity. When he asked what he could do, they invited him into the sanctuary. Lee accepted.
When it was all decided, Lee awoke within a medical center at the Bass District. Lee ended up not remembering much about it at all. He suffered, though, from severe trauma and amnesia. The hospital planned on sending him to an orphanage, but the night before he was going to be discharged, he escaped. For a few months, he started working undercover for a delivery company, who gladly accepted him for his excetional services. He attends the Sanctuary as mandatory education, though, he sees it only for it's use in keeping him alive through the means of music magic.
(( A bit complicated.. I was typing this while playing a horror game, so it might have twisted my muse a bit. Let me know which part needs the most editing, if it needs it. ))
Destiny forgotten,
SKILL(S):
Lee's greatest skill is his mind. Many people are capable of devising strategies, thinking quick, and acting fast when they're down to it, but none of them have mental layouts as broad and complex as his. Not only does he excel in academics, his range of intelligence greatly enhances his speed, distance calibration, and reflex.
Which brings us to his next favored skill: Running away. Through a combination of distractions using small spells and superhuman speed, he is a natural at escaping a captor or opponent in almost any situation. He doesn't look it, but he dislikes getting hurt, seeing other people get hurt, and fighting in general. He learned magic only because it contributed to his musical experience and protected him from the constant dangers of those around him.
However, these two are not his most favorite. When it comes down to it, his greatest love is music. Not only does he play multiple instruments, he listens to an average of about 13 hours of music each day. He has no definite taste, but music is a wonder to him, and he yearns to learn more about it, and truly be a sincere musician. Though, he doesn't show it.
POWER(S):
Like many others, Lee uses music to activate magic. Unlike many others, though, Lee does not use an instrument. He uses a cell-phone. This aspect is questionable, but it still works. Lee has a categories as to how his attacks come in to play.
Regular keypad noises: The tones a cell-phone's speaker makes when numbers or symbols like # are dialed. These are usually used for low-level spells or healing, such as fire, aero, and thunder. The most useful aspect of this is that he is able to use his spells more quickly, therefore, doubles as a defensive and offensive strength on Lee's part - it also helps that he is rather accomplished in the study of music magic itself. Although he is athletic and has a durable body by himself, magic is his forte.
Combined numbers: This is the result of multiple keypad values added together to create more varying spells.
Ringtones: These are the more "magic" like commands. The ringtones activate more powerful, high-level spells.
Coincidentally, the cell phone does not run on energy, or batteries of any kind. It recharges itself whenever it is either not being used, or is turned off. It runs on Lee's MP, or Magic Power. A bar on the sidebar notifies Lee if he is using too much, is recharging power, and such. If Lee overused the system, the phone would, in fact, turn off momentarily. Once it goes into overheat mode, the state in which it turns off, Lee has to rely completely on his athletic ability, for it remains switched off for a total of 5 minutes before it recharges even half of it's MP.
Here is a default list of his current spells:
Fire
Aero
Thunder
Blizzard
( Noting that water is a definite weakness against electronic devices, and making an attempt to shoot water out of it would only short-circuit it. )
Fira
Thundara
Aera
Flare
Firaga
WEAPON(S):
He primarily uses magic when in battles, but when a dire situation comes when he is at a loss of magic, he displays a skill of somewhat in wielding metal pipes and extended, thin objects that pose as usuable weapons of some sort.
Even though I kept going.

I don't wanna let the chance slip away..
Lee Baker walked. Well, to him, bothering to put feet in front of him.
Why is my freedom taken away?
He missed a small step going into a dark alley. It would feel like somewhat of a swooping sensation to most people.
But he felt nothing.
Reason is against emotion..
The alley was not lit. The street lamps on the outside barely outlined a nearby trashcan, but Lee had already memorized his daily surroundings. In the faint distance, more trashcans were cluttered, and a small door with a dimly lit window on it illuminated.
Gotta deal with extreme frustratio-
Click. Switched off. The cylindrical mp3 player's screen began to shine a pixel-toned shade of green, and his earphones stopped playing. He reached into a brown leather handbag at his side and pulled out a small, yellow envelope. It didn't have any address or distinguishable features - just what looked like a serial code on the corner in small font.
Lee rapped the door with his knuckles. He waited a few moments as the rustling of papers and the thuds of footsteps sounded resolutely. Finally, the rustling of the lock came, and a man emerged from it.
What he saw was nothing distinguishable, but he recognized him. The regular delivery boy who came every now and then to deliver letters or money. He wore a large cloak, which was accompanied by an almost overshadowing hood, though, the tip of blue hair could be seen, his mouth and down could be seen. Still, he looked like a child.
"Thanks, kid." The man grumbled nonchalantly as he took the envelope and exchanged it with a small payment fee, which Lee took and stored in the front pocket of his handbag.
It was getting close to midnight. He'd have to hurry before dangerous people starting showing up
Don't look back, carry on.
