String District.
APARTMENT NUMBER:

No interruptions! Can’t you see I’m watching the show!?
APPEARANCE:
Queen Brahne is just a little bit on the overweight side, and also is a little taller than average. Not so much. She’s HUGE. Standing at about five foot ten, and weighing in at an unknown but higher up weight, this woman seems highly intimidating. Her eyes are inset and darker freckles are scattered throughout her face. Her crown seems more to be a helmet with a floral decoration on top and her ponytails jut out of two urn shaped protrusions. The ponytails are blonde and are cut clean off leaving them looking flat on the end. Her coat hangs to the floor and is an elegant maroon color with a white feathery mane covering the border of her coat all the way around. Underneath the coat is Brahne’s dress that is composed of three different fabrics. The top half is a purple and pink vertical striped pattern. The bottom half is a forest green skirt that falls to the same floor that her coat does. Between the two fabrics is a golden waistband with an ornate white design on it. Each of halves on top and bottom also have golden embroidery; the top half having golden dividers between stripes, the bottom having lines that flow from the center down and spread around the circumference of the dress.
PERSONALITY:
During Brahne’s early months in Symphony, she was a grateful and humble person. The last image of her daughter constantly replayed in her mind and she vowed to make things right for Garnet’s sake. Brahne leant her hands out to anyone in need and did not have much to her name in this world, but would not let that stop her from anything. Some people even sought her help since she had become somewhat famous for her lending hand. Sadly, she watched as these people prospered and leave her behind in the dust. Soon after she started wishing that she had smaller things to her life, like in the past back on Gaia. It started off as simple wishing, but soon became wanting. Her eyes glisten when she sees something she wants until she finally decides that she ‘needs’ it. Once that is decided it is only a matter of time until whatever she has her eyes locked on is in her possession.
Brahne soon after regressed back into her greedy ways. She does not stop until she has gotten what she wants and treats most like pawns in her large game of chess. She is assertive with her authority and expects respect in return from those she converses with. She also tries faking her sympathy, which hardly works on anyone. One example of fake sympathy being her constantly calling Garnet ‘darling’ which gave no results at all. Once anyone is of no use for the Queen, she casts any ties and emotions aside and disregards them completely. They are useless for a reason, right? It can be said that the Queen is easily amused, as well. Be it the petty actions of her victims, or the remarks of others, she responds with laughter. The most common occurrence of this is when she feels she is in the right and whoever she directs her laughing to is on their last stretch of usefulness. The Queen is also very confident in her powers, which is where she loses the ability to think before she acts. If the plan seems plausible enough, she will go for it, which sometimes backfires on her highness.
BIOGRAPHY:
Brahne Raza Alexandros XVI was a wonderful queen. Was. Things looked bright for the kingdom of Alexandria up until a mysterious figure had made his girlish appearance around the castle and the King, Brahne’s husband, passed away. After that tragic event, Queen Brahne began to act awkward and not like her usual self. This mysterious man, known as Kuja began feeding her advice on the things she may do for her kingdom. Unbeknownst to her, she was only a pawn in Kuja’s own game. He told her about power and ruling the continent and of the things she could have. Her eyes glistened at her new craving for domination, when Kuja suggested war against the nearby kingdoms. He offered her Black Mages, soulless vessels that ran on the abundant mist around the continent to use at her discretion against these kingdoms. All was set in motion for the events to take place.
The first to fall victim to Brahne’s newfound power was the kingdom of Burmecia. The head of the attack was General Beatrix and Kuja himself along with their army of Black Mages. Burmecia fought hard and well but ultimately fell to Alexandria. The king of Burmecia fled to the nearby city of Cleyra which was covered in a large sandstorm, definitely a thorn in the Queen’s side. However the protagonists reached Burmecia before Brahne and her party had left. Brahne signaled for Beatrix to finish them and Kuja watched then left shortly after Beatrix’s quick work was done. They were on their way to Cleyra. In the meantime, Kuja took Brahne aside and gave her vital information. Her daughter, Princess Garnet, was able to summon Eidolons. Brahne calls upon her mystics, Zorn and Thorn, as they have the power to extract Eidolons from those who could summon them. The two did so and presented Brahne magic stones with the ability to grant those who wielded them the power of the Eidolon inside. One of these stones was located within Cleyra.
An accident occurred during a ritual to strengthen the protective sandstorm, however this accident halted the sandstorm and exposed Cleyra. The violent sandstorm was not longer able to protect the city from Brahne’s plan for them. Once the violent wall of sand had stopped rotating, the invasion had begun. Beatrix and her army of Black Mages took over the city and met with a last-ditch retaliation in a cathedral, but said retaliation was no sweat for the General and she then made way with the jewel holding Odin’s power. The army had succeeded in their goal and then left Cleyra, even so dealing more damage to it in their benefit. Brahne was given Odin’s jewel and immediately summoned the Eidolon. In the blink of an eye, the Horseman struck the three and split it in two, completely annihilating the city. The Burmecians were taken over and their city was no more thanks to Brahne and her summoning, along with Beatrix and Kuja, and his army of Black Mages.
Next in line of Brahne’s destruction was the advanced and large kingdom of Lindblum. It was the only thing keeping the Queen of Alexandria from attaining total power. Lindblum was far ahead of Alexandria and very prepared for the invasion. The warriors of Lindblum fought well, and as did the Black Mage army, but not too far in, Brahne arrived and summoned the Eidolon Atomos. Atomos sucked in most of the inhabitants of Linblum and its warriors as well, however the widespread destruction also claimed a large number of Black Mages at the same time. Brahne cared not as long as her goal was met of spreading destruction through Lindblum. One district of the grand city was completely destroyed and the castle itself was highly damaged. Brahne only watched from the safety of her ship, the Red Rose (duly named after her favorite flower), where she then called off the Eidolon attack. She reached the castle and met with Regent Cid who offered surrender. Disregarding the surrender, Alexandria still moved in to Lindblum and took it over.
Queen Brahne later made the mistake of turning her attacks toward Kuja, as he is no longer needed to her. She chased him to The Iifa tree where she then confronts him by summoning the Dragon King, Bahamut. The dragon makes his attack but to the extent of only making Kuja bleed a very small amount. Kuja retaliates by calling the Invincible, a battleship with the power to enslave Eidolons and trap souls, to do just that. It turned Bahamut against the Queen and unleashed Mega Flare on her entire fleet, claiming the lives of many soldiers and severely harming the Queen. She acted fast enough to flee in her escape pod and landed on a nearby shore. Her daughter, Garnet, found her there and with Brahne’s final breath she confessed that she was free of greed. Her last words proclaimed how happy she was with her and her husband watching “I Want to Be Your Canary” and how she drove Alexandria down the wrong path. She relinquished the throne to Garnet saying the people will be happier with her on the throne. Brahne passed away at this moment in Garnet’s arms.
The people of Alexandria forgave Brahne for she was simply persuaded by Kuja. They developed a proper grave and a local florist created a wreath of Red Roses, again Brahne’s favorite flowers, which was placed on the front of her grave. However, her time in the world of Gaia was not yet over. Brahne’s soul was captured by the Invincible and then transferred to Kuja. The negative emotions of her soul fueled Kuja’s power and allowed him to go into Trance. After her soul was used this last time, Brahne became dormant.
Seemingly only a few seconds after her death, Brahne found herself awake with a sudden intake of air. Standing around her was a woman with long pink hair that she had never seen before, nor looked like she was from Gaia. She explained that the city was in trouble and needed help. Something about the girl reminded her of her own daughter, where immediately the last image she had seen of Garnet had played through her mind. Queen Brahne agreed to attend the sanctuary and devoted her second life towards becoming a Good Samaritan of the city. She attended classes like normal students, which was awkward being who she was and how she looked. Even being the age of forty made Brahne a tad uneasy around the Sanctuary. But she kept her goal in mind.
Brahne continued to live at the sanctuary until she progressed to the Tier 7 Etude. She confronted Enya Errin and her Harmony Magic defeated Enya and completed the first Etude. Brahne could then cast Harmony Magic. To cast, Brahne studied that one would either need to sing, or play an instrument and since she had never picked an instrument up before (for if she had, t had been way too long to remember) she decided to practice singing instead. To fit her stature, Brahne started by singing opera style and to her surprise found that it was completely functional. She used her fan as a channeling agent and would flick the spell as if it were a wand. Once Harmony Magic was accomplished she then set out to find more people to help.
The Bass District seemed perfect for what Brahne’s intentions were. If she could get a little more money then she would be able to buy an apartment and move out of the dorms she had grown tired of. She wandered around offering her Harmony Magic at a small price. It seemed horrid to count this as her job, as she had never worked her entire life as a queen. Eventually, she roamed into the Minor Recital. Once inside a strange man confronted her and remarked that he had never seen someone as beautiful as she. Brahne blushed and conversed with the man until he pointed to her fan. He wanted it. He had no reason to call her beautiful other than to get her attention. She asked why and he replied that it looked very unique and that it surely would sell high in the “market”. Brahne asked of this market he spoke of, so the man took her to yet another shady individual. Her company whispered into the second shady man’s ear where they then progressed into a interesting part of the store. Closed off from the rest of the store was a somewhat larger room where few people stared at Brahne as she walked in. Her shadowy company took her to a “friend” of his who asked to see her fan. This “friend” offered her an immense amount of money for it, however Brahne refused to sell the fan. Both men tried desperately to buy her fan. They found it was an original and from an alternate universe. The price for it was set very high. Their words made no impact on the queen as she walked out infuriated that she was only being used, yet again.
Returning to the streets of the Bass District, she helped a few people recover from bar fights or those who were attacked by the drunken ones. Brahne felt better about herself that she was helping people. This euphoric feeling continued through the night until she returned exhausted to her dorm in the Sanctuary. Lying on her bed she had a slight glint of wishing she had something more. Rumors reached her ears of stately mansions on emerald green grass were located in the String District. That is specifically what she wished for: a large mansion to feel as if she lived in a castle again.
Brahne continued this routine for two more months. She roamed Symphony and helped those in need earning a slight reputation. Her typical path throughout the day was to walk the outskirts of each district for any of those who may have been injured by wandering too close to the thick Miasma nearby. It ended in the Bass District around nightfall when the skirmishes began to take place. On one of her daily routines, she was actually attacked. Not by a strong monster, thankfully, but a monster at that. She was able to defend herself enough to survive but realized that Harmony Magic would not suffice. She must step up another Tier and learn offensive magic.
She spent a month studying and eventually came to Theo Scherzo and his Etude. He was an eccentric young man, yet Brahne still respected him. The Etude was more difficult than that of Enya’s but the Queen soon overcame the Etude. With her newfound powers she then walked the edge of Symphony again as not a Healer, but as a Protector. Upon her first encounter with a monster, she felled it with ease. The power of her spells made her feel almost whole again. Immediately her mind flashed the memory of Odin splitting the city of Cleyra and the feelings of power she had in her royal days. She shook her head and remarked that those days were over.
With every monster she defeated, glimpses of her past would ensue. Her greed began settling back in to her, however she had no idea that her mind was taking its old form again. Her eyes then set on the highest mansion in the Lord’s Overture on one of her daily walk-bys. “That mansion looks… Perfect. I think… Yes… That will be where I live. I know it will… But how will I get that much money—The Market!
Upon arriving, by chance, the same man who took her the first time was present outside of the grocery store. He smirked and gave a rude remark, and she struck back instantly and powerfully demanded she be taken inside to sell her fan. Posthaste, the man took her inside to the “friend” where she presented the fan and demanded pay in full. The rush from getting what she wanted made her absolutely happy. It was only fueled more when she bought the beautiful mansion the next day. With the excess amounts she strategically invested in specific companies around Symphony only to obtain even more money than she had in the first place. She had become very rich by any means she could find in a mere four months after her revival.
The final two months up to present date were spent mostly in her mansion. She started attending class less frequently and spent more time and money in and on her mansion. Her dreams started to waver into higher grounds. She felt almost a queen again. Two things seemed missing. She wanted her fan back. It was a piece of her after all, and she wanted her kingdom back. First she tracked down the merchant who had her fan. She paid more than the amount she got to get her trusty fan back, and with it, she can cast spells again. Next on her list was to make herself Queen, yet again. She stood on the balcony of her mansion which had been heavily fortified to make her feel as if she was in a castle once more. Overlooking most of Symphony, she gazed upon each distinct District. The flashing lights of Percussion. The giant tree of Soprano. The downy look of Bass. Her eyes trailed around and met the Sanctuary. “This city… Symphony… Shall be my new kingdom! The Elegies are my next target. I shall rule! I AM QUEEN BRAHNE RAZA ALEXANDROS XVI! I AM QUEEN OF SYMPHONY! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!” and with that, her eyes glistened as she scanned the horizon of her goal. Glistened with the greed she had thought she lost long ago.

A physical sloth and glutton, but mentally can be very dangerous and devious. No other special traits stand out, however, save her strength if needed.

Harmony Magic and Aria spells were obtained in her good ol’ days. These are cast by singing opera style and channeling the magic through her fan as if it were a magic wand.
WEAPON(S):
Her fan serves as the queen’s main weapon, combining the brute force of her greed and weight to impact her target with severity if close enough, however she usually sticks with casting spells or having someone else do the dirty work for her.
