APPEARANCE:
Theo’s always been rather lanky despite the fact that he does eat a lot for his size. It’s probably due to the fact he’s always up and running one place of another. Not many would recognize he’s actually the age he is. His right eye is blind, so he always covers it with his bandana. At times, it covers his other eye as well, making it appear that he is blind.
He loves wearing things that make him appear “punk” – ish. Belts, chains, buckles and especially bandanas and scarfs are big things in his wardrobe.
PERSONALITY:
Theo is a bundle of uncontainable energy. Even while teaching, assuming that he doesn’t skip, he bounces up and around the room. He simply can’t stay still. Not only that, he has quite the short attention span. It’s terrifying to ever see him focus on one thing, when that happens, it usually something serious’ up.
Because of his past experience, he does pay more attention his own as well as everyone else’s well fair. He’ll become oddly serious once it occurs to him that what he’s doing might not exactly be the best thing. Of course, it tends to be too late or nearly too late when he realizes this and as a result, he becomes a sobbing (seemingly uncontrollable) mess.
As you probably already figured out by now, Theo’s very expressive. He’s just like a book, very easy to read. He rarely ever hides his emotions, even to make someone else happy or (unintentionally) sad. Partially because of his short attention span, he tends to have "mood swings." Sometimes, he acts as though there are three of him, hence his nickname "Theo Trio."
Other than that, he's always been the mischievous type. Theo can be found setting up pranks on other teachers, and even students, when bored enough. Usually, this means that he's been cooped up in Sanctuary, or some place, for too long.
BIOGRAPHY:
Theo has always been an active child, even when he was small. As a baby, his parents couldn’t find a way to keep him in one place. He was always on the move. Barriers didn’t stop him; in fact, they usually got in his way and caused more of a hazard. Signs that told him not to go there were also alluring. He’d stop and stare at them for a few seconds before deciding to head into there, without care of his own safety. It looked interesting and that’s all that really mattered in the end. He never considered the consequences of his actions until after he’d done ‘em.
His parents quickly gave up on trying containing him and allowed him to go as he wished, on one condition, make sure he would return home in one piece at a certain time. Amazingly enough he would always follow that rule. Theo liked the freedom he got from it, but he did understand how worried they’d gotten when he was out for too long. He wanted to know where everything was. That’s when he found the thing at the edge of the district. The shadowy miasma and their creatures. Sure, he’d heard the rumors and tales of the monsters that were in there and how the miasma, itself, could kill a person, but still his curiosity lured him in. He wanted to know. It looked like amazing fun. So … in he went, ignoring his friends wishes.
Of course, he was attacked by a monster in there. Not only was it hard to breathe, but some estrange monster got him pinned down. It took him by surprise and spat some odd substance in his eyes before he could cover them. The next thing he knew, they were burning and he was on the ground, a foot pressed firmly against his chest. He knew he was a goner, at least, if someone hadn’t stepped in. A flash of lightning scared the monster away and a hand pulled him back up, wrapping his eyes in a red bandana. He led him into safety and quickly got him medical attention. All the while, the man was scolding him on how stupid he was. He didn’t find out until later that the man who had saved Theo was the tier six muse.
Anyways, no matter how much the Tonics tried, they couldn’t heal his eyes well enough. His right had gone completely blind and his left was just considered above being declared legally blind as well. He had to relearn how to see things once more. Everything felt familiar to him, but nothing was the same. He managed to get a seeing glass for the eye that can see, but it was too “dorky” in his opinion to wear. Instead, he decided he’d just memorize everything. Still, it didn’t help how depressed he had gotten during that time. Now, he was nearly blind and everything was felt nostalgic. He hated it. In fact, his parents were incredibly worried.
The muse before him thought it was pathetic that Theo was sniveling around, pouting because he’d done something stupid. In the end, he took Theo under his wing and taught him everything he knew. He couldn’t believe that the “old blow hard” was actually a pretty eccentric guy. His parents even called the old muse “Older Theo,” much to Theo’s chagrin. Through learning magic and the old man’s support, he quickly rose up the ranks and returned to his old self.
One day he overheard his teacher talking about getting too old to teach and that he had been teaching Theo to take over for him. Theo felt betrayed. He couldn’t understand it. So he was just a tool for him? Just something to take after his duties? He ran away from Sanctuary and went to the place where he first met the muse, or more correctly close to it since he was not in the miasma. It wasn’t too long till he was attacked. Oddly enough, it was the same monster as before, the one that had blinded him. He quickly struck back, scaring it off with a few Frost Arias and finishing it off with an oddly precise Shock Aria. The creature was beaten and Theo heard someone clapping behind him. It was the old man. He’d just taken the test to become a muse without even realizing it. Of course, he felt betrayed and beaten up the guy over it (or so he’d like to think).
Gradually, he grew to accept it. At least, only after the old man told Theo that he earned it himself and pretty much fueled Theo’s ego. Not to mention, Theo had grown to become more talented than the old man at musical magic than him.

A red electric guitar, he hides miniature amps in his bags and at times his pockets. He’s rarely ever found without either of those things, which is kind of strange considering that he usually ends up hitting his guitar at something after he’s done.
Other than that, he can sing.
