APPEARANCE:

Llyr has a very unimposing appearance. He is of average height and average build meaning that he should be able to blend into a crowd, but one thing of him is a bit peculiar. Llyr has soft blue hair and matching blue eyes, though his gaze is said to pierce right through people and can leave people feeling rather naked. Most interesting of all though is the fact that Llyr has a very hard time looking rude, unhappy, or generally upset at people. When smiling, which he is frequently is, Llyr has been known to light up the room and he attracts many a women's glances.

PERSONALITY:

What is within usually reflects what is without when it comes to Llyr. His soft stare and smile reveal his easy calmness and pleasant feeling nature. In most situations Llyr is overwhelmingly polite even to those whom hold lower standing than himself, and he seems to honestly derive joy from others happiness. This overt joy seems to bleed into everything he does, though it is most obvious when he is playing music.

In professional setting though, Llyr has better command over himself and uses it. When teaching it is said that his eyes take upon a new depth and his wisdom is the only personality he chooses to show. This deep command over emotions has given him a reputation throughout the school, often making him a make-shift councilor to many of his pupils. Llyr has never made any comment to this and doesn't seem to mind at all.

And then there is the mysterious side of the Sea that can claim victims in the blink of an eye. Llyr doesn't often even show the lightest hint of anger, but if he feels threatened or anyone around him is threatened he can snap to an ungodly fury faster than one could apologize. The inner strength he holds is startling, though he always seems reluctant to truly fight anyone unless it is absolutely needed. That though is not his largest personality issue, for what he struggles with secretly is the feelings of rejection and insecurity. If criticized it becomes clear that the calm collected Llyr is just a construct.

BIOGRAPHY:

Before he was born, Llyr had already been named and his mother was rather proud of the man she knew her baby would be someday. Once he actually came into the world though, his mother threw the original name out the window because his hair and eyes were so stunning that she had to come up with a name that did them justice. Llyr became his first name because it meant the sea and Tiamat became his middle name because that represented the sea. The boy, so enchanting to his mother, was always treated as if he was a God on earth. The boy stunningly never allowed such a concept to get to his head though and he stayed modest.

Born in Percussion, Llyr was taught from the day he was born to be an outgoing personality. As a child, the boy loved nothing more than going to the city square with his mother to watch and converse with the performers. As he was treated like a god within his house, Llyr viewed these performers as gods higher than he in every way possible. It was as if they came from a different world full of different colors and stunning music, Llyr always thought, so he instantly devoted himself to musical instruments. Stringed instruments in particular always seemed so unbearably beautiful to Llyr, so he started with the guitar.

By the age of seven Llyr had mastered the guitar to the best of his ability and his curiosity had him questing for more. Llyr begged his mother to get him into the Sanctuary so that he might learn many different things from real professionals rather than teaching himself (he was very dissatisfied that it took him two years to master the guitar by himself when he was so certain that he could learn faster with help). A year later he managed to get in and relished every last moment of school that he could. There was a class for every instrument that he could think and the only trouble became that he still had to take history and could only balance four instrumental classes with all the core classes he would need.

Over the years Llyr managed to learn the guitar, the violin, the cello, the lute, and the Lyre. The last instrument quickly became his favorite (most likely because it was so very close to his name and came easily to him). Once he graduated he had rose through the levels of magic and music so rapidly that he was offered a job as a composer. At eighteen, Llyr became the youngest teacher within the school. Happily, Llyr taught at the academy as a music instructor until the monsters struck. The first attack on the city was so cataclysmic that many of the instructors were called upon as the main defense, though that ended up doing more harm than good when half of the staff was lost in the process.

Llyr became desperate and rallied himself to the front lines, even though he wasn't much of a fighter and discovered the art for which he was truly gifted: Forbidden Magic. The first release of it that Llyr commanded was alarming and entirely reckless, wiping out an entire army's worth of monsters. That wasn't enough though, so Llyr retreated to rest, drained from the exertion. After the attack came the Elegies taboo magic which put a new purpose to the school that Llyr had come to love and he was asked to try to teach the most complicated magic in their world to the newcomers. Llyr accepted and took up his new position within the academy with a solemn sense of duty.
