Site Rules~!
In Character
Literacy - All posts are expected to be written with at least a certain amount of care. This isn't to say that we expect every single member to have amazing prose, but if you're thinking you can just half-ass a post then you might want to rethink joining this site. We want to have a level of dedication in creating posts that are fun to read. A few grammar errors are acceptable but make friends with spell check, mkay?
Third Person - Please write all of your posts in third person. First person is fine and dandy for special out-of-role playing things. Like a journal. But the in-location role playing should all be done in third person. This means don't write in first person on your character app either. Password: Deceptive
Post Requirements - For now we aren't putting requirements on your post length. We would love to see at least two paragraphs though. What the staffers would really like to see in each post is the thought process you're going through. Quality over quantity is the idea, so do well and we won't even have to think about a length requirement~!
Character Limits? - We don't have any limits on the number of characters you can have. This means that as long as you have a different account for each and every character you take up and you are active with all of them you can have as long a list as you like. If the staffers see you aren't being active with all your characters though and you try to apply for another we will put a hold until you get active again.
Godmodding - Any of this and we'll roast you on a spit. No, probably nothing like that, but if you get reported for godmodding more than once in a row you'll have to have a lovely chat with the admins. More than that and you'll be godmodded-dead. DED. If you fear you're godmodding or don't know what the limitations are pleasepleaseplease ask your nearest staffer because we're always ready to help out! This includes Metagaming everyone! Password: Cadence
Thread Labels - Label each of your threads please! This allows others to see if they can join or not. Open or [o] means that you're allowing anyone to hop into your thread. Closed or [c] means that you aren't letting anyone who isn't invited in. Putting names in brackets is also a way to keep it exclusive. OH! Or if your thread contains game related spoilers be sure to put the little~
Chatbox - In the event that you are contemplating taking over an open character, you may 'test-drive' the character out in the In-Character Chatbox. This would give you a feel of whether or not you have what it takes to play that character. Be sure to use this opportunity if you're not entirely sure of it! It's always good to double check yourself!Out Of Character
Chatbox -
A) The biggest thing to remember about the chat box is that you need to respect all of the members on the site. We've all seen the drama that happens from misunderstandings of other such silliness and no one really wants to go through it. Listen to your admins or your senior members and don't be afraid to ask questions. Even guests are more than welcome to talk in the box if they're curious.
B) NO SPOILERS! If there are any enix games that have recently been released you should be sure not to spoil them for the other members. If you want to chat about the game with someone who knows about it you can take it to the private instant messaging that chatango offers. So more of that lovely lovely respect boys and girls~!
C) No spamming! This means no advertising either. So... uh... don't do it!
Accounts -
A) As was mentioned earlier, you can have as many characters as you want so long as you have the right accounts for each one. Account display names should be your character's first and last name. This means if your canon character has a first and last you should put it in your display name. No extra symbols or nicknames please. If your character doesn't have two full names just put their name in it's un-condensed form. For example: Harlequin from Chrono Cross would be Harlequin as a display name and not her nickname of Harle. Password: Dissonance
B) Your accounts can have 100x100 avatars and no larger. The signatures must be of reasonable size. Nothing page-stretching or such. I'm not putting a requirement on max signature size, but if I see too many that are just unreasonable then I will put limits on it. Common sense is a lovely thing people~!
Requiem's Edge staff can change the rules at any time. If we do we will post an announcement about it. Also, be sure you caught the correct password to put in your profile or else you can't be approved and you won't be able to role play~!
